Care made simple for UK home-care agencies
One connected platform for visits, medications, compliance and family communication — so your team spends less time on admin and more time on care.
Free to start · No card · No sales call

- Built for CQC
- GDPR
- UK-hosted
- NHS DSPT aligned
Purpose-built for UK domiciliary care
Not a generic rostering tool with care words on it.
eMAR built in
Medication administration lives in the client record, not a separate system.
Offline-first carer app
A doorstep with one bar of signal still records the visit.
UK-hosted, on London infrastructure
Your records are held in AWS London.
The platform
One platform to run your whole agency
Care planning, scheduling, medication, compliance and finance — connected, so your team isn't stitching together spreadsheets and separate tools.
Clients & care plans
The person, not the paperwork
A care plan built across thirteen sections — who someone is, what they want, and how they are supported — with risk assessments, body maps and a version history a reviewer can read. Medication sits in the same record, on an electronic MAR chart.

- Thirteen-section care plans, versioned and exportable to PDF
- Falls, Waterlow pressure-area and MUST nutrition assessments
- eMAR with PRN outcomes and controlled-drug witnessing
- Staff records, availability, leave and MODS referrals alongside
Schedule & live tracking
Build the rota, then watch it hold
Plan the week by carer or by client and adjust it by dragging. Recurring patterns cover the calls that repeat. Once the day starts, live tracking shows what is running, what is late and what nobody has picked up.

- Drag-and-drop weekly rota, grouped by carer or by client
- Recurring visit patterns you can amend or end
- Working Time Regulations checks as you assign
- Live tracking of active, late, missed and unallocated calls
Compliance & CQC
Evidence you can hand to an inspector
One screen for what an inspector will ask about: open incidents, training and document expiry, audits due, complaints, breaches and overdue risk reviews. Babiha records the rating CQC has published for you and keeps your own evidence beside it — it never invents a rating of its own.

- Single Assessment Framework evidence, key question by key question
- Provider Information Return, generated from your own records
- Statutory CQC notifications under Regulation 18
- Incidents, audits, spot checks, supervisions and training
- Complaints, compliments, data breaches and the risk register
- Policies with expiry tracking, in the same system
Finance & pay
From the delivered visit to the invoice
Visits become timesheets and invoices without being retyped. Funding sources, billing rates and pay rates are held per client and per carer, and expenses and mileage come through the same books.

- Invoices raised from delivered visits
- Funding sources, billing rates and pay rates
- Timesheets, expenses and mileage
Insights & audit trail
What actually happened, and who did what
Visit Performance measures the delivered round against the planned one — punctuality, short visits and lateness bands, computed from real check-in and check-out times. Underneath it, every action in the system is written to an audit log that cannot be edited or deleted.

- Visit Performance, from real check-in and check-out times
- PRN outcome reporting
- Export your data as CSV or Excel whenever you want it
- An immutable audit log of every action, kept for seven years
More of the platform
Coming soon to iOS and Android
The whole visit, on the carer’s phone
Built for a doorstep in the rain with one bar of signal. Everything works offline and syncs when the phone reconnects; the app locks itself behind a PIN or a fingerprint between calls. It is finished and in testing — it is not on the app stores yet.

See the round
Today’s calls with times, addresses and how many tasks each one carries — and what is already done.
Check in on location
GPS-verified against the client’s address. With no fix it refuses the check-in and says why, rather than recording a visit that cannot be evidenced.
Read the plan first
The published care plan, risk assessments, allergies, access notes and emergency contacts — before any care is recorded.
Record the care given
Tasks ticked off as they happen, body maps for skin conditions, and wellbeing: mood, fluid and food.
Give the medication
The same eMAR chart the office sees, with PRN outcomes and controlled-drug witnessing. Changes are appended, never overwritten.
Write it up
Visit notes, a handover for whoever comes next, and a concern raised straight to a manager as an incident.
Sign and check out
A summary of what was and was not done, then the client’s signature, captured and timestamped on the device.
Family portal
Families see exactly what the client agreed to share
A daughter two hundred miles away gets her own secure sign-in: the visits that happened, the care plan with a PDF she can keep, medications, wellbeing over time, shared photos, and a message thread straight to the care team.
What she does not get is anything the client has not consented to. Both the agency's sharing settings and the client's own consent are checked before anything is disclosed, a withdrawn consent always wins, and if the check cannot be completed the portal shows nothing rather than guessing.

Compliance & security
Built for the way UK care is regulated
Inspection-readiness is not a feature you switch on the week before. It is the record you have been keeping all along — so Babiha keeps it as you work.
- CQC evidence, gathered as you work
- Self-assessment against the five key questions and their quality statements, the Provider Information Return, statutory notifications under Regulation 18, and incidents, audits, spot checks, supervisions and training kept together.
- Your data stays in the UK
- Babiha runs on AWS in London. That is what NHS England and DHSC guidance on off-shoring expects of a social care provider, and it is handled in line with UK GDPR.
- Built in line with the NHS DSPT
- The Data Security and Protection Toolkit shapes how the platform is built. It is a standard we work to, not a certificate we hold.
- An audit trail nobody can rewrite
- Every action is written to an audit log that cannot be edited or deleted, and is retained for seven years. Records the phone writes are audited in the database itself, so a carer’s action leaves the same trail as an office one.
- One agency cannot see another
- Every query is isolated by row-level security in the database, not by a filter in application code. Sensitive fields — NHS numbers, key safe codes — are encrypted at rest.
- Access you decide, role by role
- Twenty-one roles, each with its own view of the system, plus two-factor authentication you can require across your whole agency.
Compliance remains your agency's responsibility. Babiha gives you the tools and the evidence trail; it does not certify anyone, and neither does any software.

What counts as a client? Anyone you are actively caring for. Clients in hospital or on respite still count, because their records stay live in Babiha. People who have been discharged, or who have passed away, are never billed for — even though we keep their records for the eight years you are required to retain them.
Changes take effect on your next bill. We count your clients once a night. Take on a new client mid-month and you will never see a surprise part-month charge.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Straight answers on compliance, your data, and what is and is not built yet.
Is Babiha built for CQC compliance?
Yes. Babiha includes CQC-focused tools — Single Assessment Framework evidence across the five key questions, Provider Information Return generation, statutory notifications under Regulation 18, incident and safeguarding reporting, training and DBS tracking, audits, spot checks, supervisions, complaints and a risk register — so you can evidence quality of care. Compliance remains your agency’s responsibility; Babiha gives you the tools and the audit trail.
Where is our data stored?
In the UK. Babiha runs on AWS in London, which is what NHS England and DHSC guidance on off-shoring expects of a social care provider, and your data is handled in line with UK GDPR. Each agency’s data is isolated by row-level security in the database itself, sensitive fields such as NHS numbers and key safe codes are encrypted, and every action is written to an immutable audit log. Babiha is built in line with the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
Does the carer app work offline?
Yes. Carers can check in, record medications, tasks and notes with no signal. Everything is encrypted on the device and syncs automatically once they reconnect. The app also locks itself behind a PIN or a fingerprint between visits.
What do families actually see?
Visits, the care plan with a downloadable PDF, medications, wellbeing over time, shared photos, and secure two-way messaging with the care team — but only what the client has consented to share. Both your agency’s sharing settings and the client’s own consent are checked on every screen, and a withdrawn consent always wins.
Can we get our data back out?
Yes, whenever you want it. Export your records as CSV or Excel from inside the platform. There is no export fee and no request to raise.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. You get 30 days free with no credit card — create an account and use the whole platform. Nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends; you choose whether to add a payment method.
How much does Babiha cost?
£8 per client, per month, with a minimum of £80 a month covering your first 10 clients. That is the whole price — the care management platform, eMAR medications, the family portal and the carer mobile app are all included, with unlimited carers and office staff. We are not VAT-registered, so there is no VAT to add.
Which clients am I charged for?
Only the people you are actively caring for. Clients in hospital or on respite still count, because their care plans and records stay live in Babiha. Clients who have been discharged, or who have passed away, are never charged for — even though we retain their records for the eight years you are required to keep them. We count your clients once a night, and any change applies to your next monthly invoice, so you never get a surprise part-month charge.
What happens if I stop paying?
You never lose your records. After we have warned you and given you time to update your payment details, the account becomes read-only: you and your team can still open and export every care plan, medication chart and visit record, but you cannot add new entries until billing is set up again. We do not delete anything.
Is the carer app on the App Store?
Not yet — the companion carer app is built and in testing, and is coming soon to iOS and Android. The web platform and the family portal are available today.
